Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Load Us Up collects when you use this website, enquire through a form or call one of our numbers, what we do with it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
Load Us Up is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us about anything in this policy at or on 0330 828 6685.
Load Us Up
What we collect, and why
We only collect what we need to answer an enquiry and to understand which of our adverts bring people here. We do not buy personal data, and we do not sell it.
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, phone number, email address and postcode | When you submit a form | To reply to your enquiry and quote for the work |
| What you told us — skip size, service, your message | When you submit a form | To understand what you need before we call you back |
| Your phone number, the number you dialled, the time and length of the call, whether it was answered, and a recording or written summary where one is made | When you call a number shown on this site | To return your call, to know which advert or area the call came from, and for training and quality |
| The page you arrived on and the advert you came from, including campaign tags and a Google click identifier | When you arrive from an advert | To know which advertising works, so we stop paying for the rest |
We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and no part of this site collects them.
Our lawful basis
- Legitimate interests — replying to an enquiry you sent us, and keeping a record of it. You asked us to get in touch; answering is what you expect.
- Consent — the advertising and analytics cookies described in our Cookie Policy. Nothing is set until you agree, and you can change your mind at any time.
- Legal obligation — waste transfer records we are required to keep as a licensed carrier, where these relate to work we carried out for you.
How long we keep it
An enquiry’s personal details are automatically erased 90 days after we receive it. This is not a promise we have to remember to keep: a job runs every night and removes the name, email address, message and any call recording or transcript, and shortens the phone number so only its dialling code remains.
What survives is deliberately impersonal — which town the enquiry came from, how long a call lasted, whether it was answered, and which advert it followed. We keep that so we can count how our advertising performs without holding on to who you are.
Where you went on to become a customer, records relating to the work itself are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep them.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of suppliers to run this site and handle enquiries. They act on our instructions and may only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Our hosting and database providers — to run this website and store enquiries securely.
- Our call tracking provider — to connect calls to the right number and tell us which advert a call came from.
- Our marketing agency — to manage our advertising and report on which campaigns produce enquiries.
- Google — advertising and measurement, only where you have agreed to it. See our Cookie Policy.
Some of these suppliers may store or process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask what we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
- have anything wrong corrected;
- ask us to delete it;
- object to us using it, or ask us to restrict how we use it;
- ask us to hand it to another provider;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on your consent.
Email and we will respond within one month. Exercising any of these rights is free, and we will not treat you any differently for it.
Worth knowing: after 90 days an enquiry has already been stripped of anything identifying, so there may be nothing left for us to find or delete.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change how we use your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. This version is dated 28 October 2026.
